Romen extends help to Covid warriors

With an aim to motivate the Covid Warriors who are rendering their services in Covid vaccination centres, Oinam Romen Singh, the intending candidate from Singjamei AC in the upcoming State Assembly Election has been visiting different vaccination centres in the Constituency and has been distributing hand sanitisers, masks, hand gloves and otherrelated items for their safety.
Rendering the service, he said that he has been doing this for the safety of the Covid Warriors and also for the welfare of the general public and not to gain any political benefits.
He further stated that all should support the mass Covid vaccination drive taken up by the Government which is aimed at protecting the people from the deadly pandemic and to contain the further spread of the pandemic.
O Romen also opined that no one should interfere in such Government initiatives to gain political mileage instead work for the welfare of the people selflessly.
He also assured of working on all possible measures for the development of the constituency.
On the other hand, Oinam Romen Singh lauded the initiative of the State Government led by Nongthombam Biren Singh to give a sum of Rs five thousand to families affected by Covid-19 pandemic under Chief Minister's COVID-19 Affected Livelihood Support Scheme.
He said that the initiative taken up by the State Government during this Covid-19 pandemic is commendable which indicates that the present State Government is people centric.
He also assured of extending co-operation to the State Government in disseminating such kind of aid to the genuine beneficiaries in Singjamei AC .
