Drug issues, Govt schemes discussed online

A webinar for Para-Legal Volunteers (PLVs), Police, NGOs and Local clubs on the topic 'Campaign on Drug Abuse and Rehabilitation' was organised by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Tamenglong in collaboration with Community Network for Empowerment (CoNE) Manipur.
Imphal West District & Sessions judge cum DLSA Tamenglong chairman Aribam Guneshwar Sharma, DLSA secretary K Nirojit, PLVs of Tamenglong and Noney districts, police personnel and CSOs leaders attended the webinar held with CoNE president Rajkumar Nalinikanta as the resource person.
An interaction programme was also held with the experts.
District Legal Services Authority, Senapati also organised an online awareness cum interaction programme for district PLVs, panel lawyers and DLSA legal literacy club members during which Social Welfare Department's programme officer Mala Lisham deliberated on the dual topics of "Chief Minister's Covid-19 Affected Livelihood Support Scheme" and "Chief Ministergi Angangi Tengbang (bal seva) Scheme" as the resource person.
The programme was also attended by Senapati DLSA chairman Samom Ibjen, secretary A Tarunakumari, JMFC Mao Ksh Maheta and retainer lawyer S Marysena.
