IDO releases souvenir

Integrated Development Organisation, Lilong today organised its annual function and released its souvenir at Islamic Baby High School, Lilong Mairenkhun .
Alhaj Hafijuddin, retd Deputy Director, Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Government of Manipur attended the event as a dignitary .
An essay competition on the topic ‘recent flood in Lilong area and its impact’ and a quiz competition was held during the annual function .
Colonel Sahid Khan speaking on the occasion stressed on the importance of Integrated Development Organisation and roles it played in uplifting Meitei Pangal communities in the area .
Md Saddam Hussain, executive member IDO outlined the programmes of IDO for the year 2018 .
A six month free coaching class for aspirants of the combined graduate level examinations will be organised from January 21, said the executive member .
He also announced that IDO has plans to set up a coaching class for aspirants of Indian navy and army.
IDo will organise skill development training like tailoring courses which will help the women in the community, he said .
The organisation will organise social campaigns which aim at giving awareness to the people about law, civic duties, he said pointing out that such social campaigns will equip the people with knowledge that will help them grow towards a brighter side of life and derive fully the various benefits of being a good and responsible citizen.
Many intellectuals and well known personalities attended the event.
