JD-U candidate vows development

After joining Janata Dal United (JDU) to fight the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election from Bishnupur AC, former chief secretary and retired IAS officer O Nabakishore has taken a firm decision to redress the developmental lacunae in the constituency.
During an interaction with media persons at his Ningthoukhong residence on Friday, Nabakishore said that his first task if he got elected in the upcoming election will be providing safe drinking water to the people and development of playgrounds to keep the youth healthy.
According to Nabakishore, he contested the last MP election but in-spite of suffering defeat he continued to serve the people.
Accordingly, he joined BJP and sought party ticket.
However, BJP leaders denied ticket to him and thus he joined JDU to fight the election so as to continue serving people.
Former BJP Bishnupur Mandal vice president Soibam Binoy also told media persons that he resigned front BJP and joined JDU owing to dissatisfaction over the manner of allocating party ticket.
Later, 0 Nabakishore accorded a warm welcome to Binoy and presented him JDU stole and cap.
