Nehginpao Kipgen given reception by KSO, SEDO

Nehginpao Kipgen, a US-based political scientist, was given a warm reception by the Kuki Students Organization (KSO) general headquarters in Imphal on May 19 last.
According to a report, Kipgen was honoured with presentation of a waistcoat and serving a delicious dinner by Tongmang Haokip, Retired IRS Officer and his wife, in recognition of his contributions to society at large.
In the morning of May 20, Kipgen had a discussion session with the Kuki State Demand Committee (KSDC) while in the evening; Bethany Christian College welcomed him by slaughtering cow.
College Principal Kamzamung Buansing and wife Hathoi Buansing presented him a Thadou-Kuki waistcoat and necktie.
On May 21, Socio-Economic Development Organization (SEDO) organized an interactive discussion session with Kipgen and presented him a traditional shawl in Churachandpur.
Later, Kipgen visited Sangga Moun Inn (orphanage) and interacted with its leaders.
It may be recalled that Kipgen visited India-Myanmar border areas from May 10 to 18.Among others, Kipgen delivered a speech at the 2014 Khanglai Lamtol event in Tungkyaw, and had interactive discussion sessions with members of the Kuki-Chin Baptist Association (KCBA), Kabaw Valley Thadou Baptist Association, and Assembly of God (AG).
On May 15, Kipgen was given a warm reception by Kipgen Insung Kiloikhom (Myanmar) .
On May 24, Kipgen will be a resource person at a seminar jointly organized by KSO Sadar Hills and Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills in Kangpokpi.
On May 23 and 24, All India Radio (Thadou Program Imphal) will air Kipgen's interviews on education and socio-economic issues.
