Imphal, January 09 2010:
A public meeting held today at the community hall at Nambol bazar organised by Development and Protection United Voluntary organisation, Nambol (DPUVO) has resolved that the private schools located at Nambol areas should not be paid tuition fees for the past four months.
Khaba Taorem, president of DPUVO and Dr Kh Shamungou, noted environmentalist and educationist were the presidium members at the public meeting convenened to discuss whether the students should pay the private schools monthly tuition fees or not.
The meeting finally resolved that no tuition fee for the past four months during which classes remained closed should be paid to the private schools.
