Imphal, September 09 2015 :
MLA of Langthabal A/C Karam Shyam has called on everyone to understand and welcome the three bills passed by the Manipur Legislative Assembly on August 31 last saying that the bills will decide the fate of future generations of Manipur.
The MLA said that his party had already requested National Dalit Sena President Ram Chandra Paswan to help in dealing with the activities of Jan Adhikar Party president and former Bihar MP Pappu Yadav who had allegedly stopped trains in Bihar to check for Manipuris.
Karam Shyam also mentioned that he has sent a fax message to the Lok Janshakti Party National President Ram Vilas Paswan requesting him to look into the matter since the act of Pappu Yadav might threaten the whole of India.
If the former MP of Bihar continues his activities, then he will visit Bihar along with LJP national leaders to meet Papu Yadav and make him understand that people from any of the community were not assaulted in Manipur in connection with the ILPS protest, added Shyam.
Condemning the interference of Mizoram Chief Minister in internal affairs of Manipur State, the MLA said that making an irresponsible statement by such a leader is unfortunate for the country.
The Meetei community has no communal feeling, said Shyam and added that the three bills were passed considering the urgent need to protect minorities like the indigenous Manipuris in a large country like India.
Meanwhile, sources said that Lok Janshakti Party National President Ram Vilas Paswan has invited the Langthabal A/C MLA for a meeting in Patna on Thursday.
