Office bearers of AMRPDWA sworn in

The newly elected office bearers of the All Manipur Rickshaw Pullers and Drivers' Welfare Association (AMRPDWA) were sworn in today at Kekrupat.
UCM President Yumnamcha Dilipkumar administered the oath of office, Commerce and Industries Minister Y Erabot also attended the swearing in ceremony.
Speaking on the function, Minister Y Erabot said that the rickshaw drivers instead of regarding themselves as inferior to others, should feel proud of the way they decided to live their lives without indulging in illegal activities.
On the other hand, people also should respect them and treat them as their own brothers.
He is ever ready to help the rickshaw drivers in times of their need and trouble; he asserted adding that they can contact him on his mobile number whenever they need any help.
He also suggested AMRPDWA to have a legal advisor in case they face legal disputes.
He donated Rs 20,000 to the association.
Yumnamcha Dilipkumar said that AMRPDWA has been extending their helping hand to the state in many major issues including safeguarding the territorial integrity of Manipur.
UCM never take them as a separate association.
They are honest persons who are fighting the war of life with sincerity.
It is important for the general people to treat them with respect.
Newly elected president Th Basanta, vice president Y Joykumar and general secretary MM Gaffar Shah were among others who sworn in today.
