All Manipur Democratic Women's Association celebrated its 14th foundation day today with the theme "Problems of women in Conflict Situation in Manipur" at Manipur Press Club, Major Khul.
Speaking as resource person on the occasion, assistant professor, Chinglen Meisnamba, department of economic said despite having many civil organizations working for the cause of the people, there lack of worthy and sincere leaders to lead the people.
People need to point out those who imitate public leader and trying to mislead the people, he added.
14th AMDWA foundation celebrated Even though people are rising up for justice, as leaders could not lead them in the direction to get justice, still people could not the desire results of their demands.
At this juncture, people need true leaders who work sincerely for the people and lead the people in true direction to achieve the goal of their demands.
Many of the civil organizations are leading by "fake leaders", people need to identified them and remain far away from them, he observed.
Dr Kh Bimola of political science department, MU graced the function as chief guest which was presided over by AMWA president Y Romola.
