Returnee from Myanmar put in isolation ward

CCpur, April 23 2020:
A man from the border village of Ngaljang who returned from Myanmar after visiting his wife's parents there was picked-up by a team of the district health personnel last night and is now kept at the district hospital isolation ward.
Upon receiving information that a man from Ngaljang, located under Behiang PHC had just returned from the Myanmar village of Selbung, the district health officials immediately dispatched an ambulance to take him to the district headquarters at about 5 pm yesterday, sources said.
The medical team that brought the man from the village arrived at the district hospital here around midnight.
He was then lodged at the isolation ward of the hospital with samples collected and sent for COVID-19 test today to JNIMS for which result will be known tomorrow.
Though there are no other symptoms, though he has cough said a source.
Churachandpur currently has 4 male and 1 female in its quarantine centre while the Myanmar returnee is the only one in isolation.
