Chiulon over Arabian Sea

Imphal, April 23 2020:
Amur Falcon - Chiulon which was fitted with satellite radio transmitter in the State so as to study its migratory route was flying over the Arabian sea after leaving Somalia.
Wildlife Institute of India (WII) scientist Dr Suresh Kumar informed that Chiulon was flying over the Arabian Sea this morning en route to India.
Longleng, another Amur Falcon which was also fitted with satellite radio transmitter in Nagaland was also flying over the Arabian Sea today.
Irang and Barak, the other two Amur Falcons which were fitted with satellite radio transmitters in the State were also on the trail of Chiulon and Longleng, Dr Suresh Kumar said.
