AADC Machi Block urges Govt to repair IVR

Ajapurel Area Development Committee, Machi Block, in a statement, has said that the Committee has been working for the development of neglected remote area of Manipur in general and particularly Khoibu District Council Constituency right from its inception.
The Committee focuses on road connectivity, social security schemes and other entitlements.
It has mobilized funds for capacity building of leaders of the area as well s for construction and renovation of the existing IVR.
In the year 2013-14, the committee mobilized fund for construction of IVR for 14-km long Bongmol- Leithai/Maolhang.
The IVR has been completed up to six km till Bongli with support and assistance from the local MLA, Chairman ADC, CDL, S.Robin, Member ADC, government nominee and other well wishers, the statement said.
The foundation stone of the road was laid on January 21, 2014.The IVR has directly benefited seven villages.
The seven-km long Khoibu-Chara Wanphom has also been renovated with the support from S.Robin, Member ADC to benefit the villagers of 22 villages.
The Committee has expressed its heartfelt gratitude to all who have contributed and helped to accomplish its visionary mission.
It has also drawn the attention of the Government to renovate the remaining portion of the IVR and make it motorable as soon as possible.
