1st National Asian Expo attracts people but no buyer

The ongoing 1st National Asian Expo 2013 at Indoor Stadium Tamenglong Headquarter has attracted the people of Tamenglong.
However, due to high prices of the goods on sale, people just walked pass without buying any item.
People have patiently waited for discount day which starts from today.
The Expo which has 13 stalls is being organized by Neigailong Youth Club, Tamenglong Ward No.II .
Speaking to Hueiyen Lanpao, one K.Vijay Kumar, owner of Hyderabad Real Pearls shop, said that though the people and place were very good, sale of items is not so good.
"Many people come and go away without buying any item from my stall during the last few weeks.
When I am in Hyderabad, I sold my necklaces and other jewelries.
It is time pass here comparing to the sale registered at my centre", Vijay Kumar said.
When enquired about why there were very less buyers, Vijay Kumar said that the items in the stalls seem to be costly.
People asked for the cheapest items.
The price of the pearls available in his stall cost Rs.1230 whereas people come asking for pearls worth around Rs.200 to Rs.250 only.
The 12 stalls include, Delhi based LPG gas stove materials and other beauty parlous materials, Mumbai Jewellery, Delhi Roti/Chapati making materials, Punjab blanket, Maharashtra- base plastic materials, Mumbai base footwear, Hyderabad base real pearls, Teleshopping Mumbai, Rajasthan domestic wears/ kitchen, Utter Pradesh SHG furniture/ Handicrafts items, Utter Pradesh- base Ayurvedic medicine and Delhi base toys.
The three weeks long 1st National Asian Expo 2013 would conclude tomorrow evening.
