Abducted workers still untraceable

Imphal, July 25 2011:
Three workers of the dam undergoing construction at Chandrakhong Irou River who were abducted by unknown gunmen on the night of July 26 are still untraceable till date.
The abducted workers has been identified as Ahongsangbam Hemanta(35), s/o A Kondum of Charangpat Mayai Leikai, Shoraishem Ningthemjao(50) s/o late S Birchandra of Leirongthel and Laishram Sarat(28) s/o L Bokul of Heirok Part ll.
Reports reveal that the three workers were abducted by suspected Kuki outfits numbering about ten who came heavily loaded with sophisticated weapons.
Meanwhile in another unrelated incident, the Manipur Naga Revolutionary Front (MNRF) in a press statement released by its Information and Publicity Secretary, clarified that the organization has nothing to do with the abduction of Mohori Nilo and a JCB driver.
