All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) President Sanasam Subhaschandra on Monday stated that Government of India has continuously played divide and rule policy in Manipur and even tried to disintegrate the State by fueling hatred among the communities.
He was speaking at the State Level Open Painting Competition organised by the union at Thangmeiband Athletic Union (THAU) Sports Complex.

The AMSU President also expressed dismay with the current situation of education in Manipur.
He also strongly vouched for the inclusion of the State's history and contributions of eminent historical figures of Manipur in the school syllabus.
