CM inaugurates Shri Shri Bangsibudon Mandir

Imphal, November 23 2015:
Manipur Chief Minister O Ibobi on Monday inaugurated the newly built Shri Shri Bangsibudon Mandir of Thoubal Khangabok and handed over to Bangsibudon Seva Committee, Khangabok.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Social Welfare and Co-Operative minister AK Mirabai, Khangabok A/C MLA O Landhoni, Thoubal Zilla Parishad Adakshya Kh Surnalata, Deputy Commissioner Thoubal T Ranjit and numbers of pradhan of Khangabok Gram Panchayat.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister O Ibobi said that as India is a democratic country, people have the right to choose their own religion, tradition and cultures.
People can follow any religion as the teachings and objectives of every religion are the same.
Government will help the Shri Shri Bangsibudon Mandir in beautifying its premises as the State Government has been focusing on preserving important temples of Manipur, said O Ibobi.
Laishram Basanta, who dedicated the mandir, was also presented with gifts by the Chief Minister.
