In order to bring about development in the Industrial sector of the state, which is in the most pathetic situation currently, Commerce and Industries Minister Govindas Konthoujam has assured of implementing a new Industrial Policy within two months.
The Minister was speaking at the inauguration of first ever Common Facility Centre of Cane and Bamboo Crafts of the state at the Handloom and Handicrafts complex, Patsoi Makha Leikai today.

If there were industries which could accommodate all the talented educated youths of the state, the problem of unemployment faced today could be solved easily.

So, we need to come together and chalk out ways and means to develop the Handloom and crafts of the state.
