In the memorandum, the leaders condemned the ongoing Indo-Myanmar border fencing which has resulted to the loss of large territory of Manipur to Myanmar.
The border fencing would further displace thousands of people in the border villages of Chandel and Ukhrul districts.
The traditional boundaries between Manipur and Myanmar must be kept intact and the authorities concerned should immediately remove the faulty border fences, Tombi demanded.
They also apprised the BJP National President Rajnath Singh and JD (U) National President Sharad Yadav about the Indo-Myanmar border issues.
The Government should rectify the faulty border fences before any untoward incident happens, the Convenor averred.
