In the aftermath of Supreme Court's split verdict on quashing the common entrance test for admission to MBBS/BDS courses, another association of parents for National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET)-2013 selected candidates which was formed today has demanded the authorities concerned to hold the counselling for selection of government nominees from among the NEET qualified candidates.
Addressing media persons at Manipur Press Club, the President of Parents' Association of Selected Candidates (NEET-UG 2013) S Raghubir said that the ruling of the Supreme Court clearly mentioned that the quash order would not affect the admission of those candidates already done.
The Directorate of Health Services, Manipur has already selected the candidates based on NEET and so the authorities should conduct the counselling as soon as possible, he enjoined.
