Training programme held under KKA

A one day training programme on Bee keeping, Mushroom Cultivation, Nutritional Gardening under "Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan" was conducted today at Tampi Village, Chandel.
In his keynote address, Dr Deepak Singh, Sr Scientist, KVK Chandel highlighted the achievement and the upcoming programmes under Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan in the targeted villages.
He also informed the farmers that the duration of Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan programmes have been extended to August 15 by the Government of India.
The training programme was conducted for the villages of Tampi, Rungchang, Thungcheng and Purum Tampak while an interaction programme was also conducted between the farmers and the experts besides the training programme.
About 210 farmers from the above villages have participated in the training, programme.
The training was attended by Dr Kl Levis Chongloi, SMS (Agronomy), Dr Y Prabhabati Devi SMS (Home Science), Ts Leenda Monsang, SMS (Plant Breeding), Dr A Ameeta.
