Triple murder victims remembered

Imphal, February 17 2014:
Dr Thingnam Kishan, the then SDO of Kasom Khullen and his two subordinate staffs namely Revenue Mandal Y Token and driver A Rajen, who were found murdered near Taphou Kuki village in Senapati district on this day in 2009 after they had been abducted from UKhrul district headquarters by some armed NSCN (IM) cadres, were fondly remembered on their 5th Death Anniversary observance held at Uripok Laikhurembi Shanglen here today.
The death anniversary observance organized by Joint Action Committee (JAC) Against the Brutal Killing of Dr Kishan, Token and Rajen was attended by Chairman of the JAC S S Tikendrajit, Convenor of JCILPS Ibotombi Khuman, President of AMUCO Dr Y Mani Khuman and President of UCM Y Nabachandra as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Convenor of the JAC Y Kapur said that the Patiala House CBI Court is yet to give its verdict in the triple murder case of Dr Kishan and two of his subordinates.
The people of Manipur are hoping for justice for the murdered trio at the earliest.
Dr Mani Khuman slammed the Central and State Governments for delay in punishing the culprits, and added that the people of Manipur are being considered nothing more than the subjugated citizens of India.
Y Naba maintained that the Indian Government is not sincere while dealing with this case involving NSCN-IM cadres.
The culprits of the triple murder have been not punished till date, he added.
The public also paid floral tributes to the deceased former SDO of Kamson Khullen and two of his subordinate staffs on the occasion.
