Imphal, February 17 2014:
A team of Joint Students' Co-ordination Committee (JSCC), who were on an inspection visit to Lilong Haoreibi College in connection with the ongoing Class XII examination was objected by candidates' companions today.
According to a press release of the committee, a large number of people, who were loitering outside the campus of the college, tried to barge into the complex as JSCC caught some students who were using unfair means.
The crowd asked the JSCC team to leave the examination centre immediately, said that press release.
Earlier, when the team reached the examination centre, many people were found openly helping the candidates from outside.
Apart from checking the chaos, the JSCC volunteers informed the invigilator about using unfair means by a student (Roll No 7491) .
Twenty two other teams of JSCC also inspected at other examination centres as well, added the press release.
The committee is a joint body of six student bodies - AMSU, MSF, DESAM, KSA, SUK and AIMS.
