Imphal, May 09 2009: YET ANOTHER twist to the case of abduction of Khwairakpam Megha by some police commandos has emerged as Megha himself today alleged that he was sold out by the police commandos who picked him up to the Assam Rifles.

Amidst the controversial reports on missing of Megha, he was handed over to the Imphal police station by the AR authority stating that he was nabbed from Moreh as PLA cadre on May 8 yesterday.

After registering a case against him under section 20 of UA (P) A Act by the Moreh police Megha was produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chandel this afternoon and remanded to police custody for further interrogation till May 13 .

While interaction with Megha himself at the court complex, he said that he was picked by two persons in civil dress identified themselves to be personnel of the Imphal east district police commandos along with one of his local firend Laithangbam Sanathoi (34) son of Iboyaima of his neighbourhood from Liwa Lambi Oinam Leikai.

When he asked about picking him up, the police commandos forcibly step in into the vehicle they come with.

At that time, he asked them if the reason for his picking up be for money, he can give Rs 5,000 or if he was called up by SP then he can go with his vehicle along with them.

But, Megha added, without hearing any of his word, he was taken forcibly into the vehicle and blind folded apart from tying his both hands.

He was kept into a house for about an hour till a troop of Assam Rifles arrived there.

The police commandos handed over him to the AR personnel saying that he was a PLA cadre.

At around 8 pm of the night, AR carried him to one of their camps.

But could not locate the place as he was blind folded but he could hear sounds of Laihaouraba.

After than, an officer of the camp seem to be a South Indian came his nearby.

During talks in Hindi with the officer he convinced him that he is an innocent and asked whether they would be happy if the same faith befell on him happen to their brother and closed relatives However, the officer did not talk anything.

Fear of taking away by police commandos, he put the gold chain at his neck to his pocket who had already taken away his two mobile handset which one with two SIM card and other with one SIM card and Rs 7000 in cash, Megha recalled adding that the same has been taken away later by the AR personnel.

His friend picked together with him is a tablet user.

There have any quarrel or other unpleasant relation with him in the pass.

He had taken money from him stating that he would cast vote to the person he wanted, Megha who claimed that the man who tied his hand was his local firend Sanathoi.

He is still in dark on the reason behind his arrest but he strongly charge that the police commandos had handed him over to AR for killing him concealing the secret relation between the police commandos and Assam Rifles.

But, he expressed thanks to the Imphal west police commandos who efforted to find out his whereabouts.
