MPP decries Ministry instruction

Coming out strongly against the reported instruction of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India to the state government not to send an Ministerial team and Congress MLAs to inspect the border fencing along Indo-Myanmar boundary in the interest of retaining the cordial relationship between the two neighbouring countries, Manipur People's Party (MPP) has asserted that such anti-people instruction of the Ministry is unfortunate for the people of Manipur.
Public and MPP is fully aware of the opportunistic nature of Congress MLAs in the state.
The land of Manipur could not be compromised at any cost due to the faulty border fencing.
As the Indian government had assured to conduct a joint survey of the border by the two neighbouring countries, MPP is keeping a vigil, Heikrujam Nabashyam, Spokesman of MPP stated.
