Imphal, September 08 2013:
Saying that they have heard about Kuki Revolutionary Front's (KRF) preparation to sign a suspension of operation pact with the Government, KRA information and publicity secretary T Simte has warned that no designated camp of KRF should be opened at Thingsat village which is allegedly within the operational area of KNO/KRA.
Speaking to media persons at Saikul today, T Simte said that KRF was operating within Saitu-Gamphazol area which is allegedly under the control of KNF.
From the very beginning, KRF was supported by KNF.
In case KRF signs SoO pact with the Government, their designated camp should be opened within the area controlled by KNF or their designated camp should attached to the camp of KNF.
The Government of Manipur should not open any designated camp of KRF at Thingsat village as it falls within the operational area of KNO/KRA.
If the Government commits such a fait accompli, KRA would be constrained to demolish the camp and the Government should be held accountable for such an eventuality, Simte said.
KRF may be accommodated at a place where there would be no problem.
KRA is a peace loving organisation and it hates any situation of conflict or confrontation.
But this does not mean KRA is weak, Simte added.
