Ailing man gets immense benefits from CMHT

A man from Utlou underwent a successful kidney transfer surgery without spending even a rupee under Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) scheme at JNIMS.
Reportedly, the life of Keisham Ratan from Utlou Mamang Keisham Leikai who used to suffer from kidney failure ailment (both kidneys) returned to normalcy after he went through the surgery in January this year.
Speaking to media persons, wife of Ratan, Keisham ongbi Naobi thanked the Government especially Chief Minister N Biren Singh for saving the life of her husband.
She said that her husband developed kidney failure ailment some years back.
Naobi further stated that they exhausted all their wealth and even sold their land to clear bills for the treatment in Delhi and other places and started losing hope 'as the family engaged in daily wage jobs' .
Saying that many individuals and civil society organisations extended help to them after the condition of their family was aired in a TV channel, Naobi thanked all who helped them in their difficult days.
She went on to state that her husband was admitted to JNIMS by a medical team sent by the Government under the guidance of the Chief Minister after they (the Government) took notice of their problem.
Naobi said that her husband could recover from the ailment only due to the support of the Government and other well wishers and thanked the Chief Minister in particular for launching CMHT scheme to help the poor.
