Community security meet

Imphal, February 26 2018:
11 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter 26 Sector Assam Rifles organised a meeting on cornmunity security at Chavangphai village, Moreh today.
The meeting was held to discuss issues of mutual importance for the security of all communities in the village and society.
Chief and secretary of the village attended the meeting with a total strength of 47 including 17 male, 22 female and eight children, conveyed a press release from PRO IGAR (S).
The meeting discussed various issues like security infrastructure development, promoting sports and recruitment into Indian Armed Forces.
All the villagers were satisfied by the discussion and unanimously desired such meetings to be a regular feature since they promote mutual understanding and friendly relations between the Assam Rifles and the local populace as well as amongst all the communities thriving in Moreh.
In the end villagers were served with tea and snacks as refreshment, it added.
