Anal Naga Students' Union stand by the integrity of students, urges unbiased scrutiny

The general secretary of Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (Anal Naga Students' Union) has said that students who are presently appearing their class X and XII examinations in Chandel HQs exam centres are following the protocol of the examination and giving the exam in the strictest manner.
This was stated during an emergency meeting held at the Principal office of MUGHSS, Chandel, on February 24, conveyed a press release issued by general secretary of the union.
He further stated that such remarkable nature and protocol should be observed and noted by the board members and also alleged that the board member's perception of Chandel students using guides and notes during exam should be removed from their minds.
The general secretary said that there should not be any partiality when it comes to correcting the exam papers and assigning marks to the particular students who are giving exams at Chandel HQs.
He expressed concern that these students are given very less marks compared to their counterparts like Imphal.
The injustice shown to the students of Chandel should be removed and equality should be maintained, he added.
He appealed to the board members not to distract the students by questioning them and checking their answer sheets unnecessarily as time is critical for the students.
The general secretary urged the board members not to make haste decision by expelling the students without knowing the real cause.
He further pointed out that if the board members finds any evidence, then they should approach the OCs, the invigilators and the Unions before making a haste decision as the career of the students should not be jeopardized for the sake of negligence.
The board members, ZEO, Headmistress MUGHSS, NSUC and all the units who attended the emergency meeting agreed to the points stated by the general secretary of the union.
The board members not only agreed to the points of ALT but also suggested all to send representatives from Chandel HQs to be among the members who check the papers for class X and XII .
