MSF appeals to private institutions

Jiribam, December 22 2014:
Manipur Student's Federation (MSF), Special Branch, Jiribam president P Ranbir has, during a press meet held at its office today, appealed to private schools and tutors to consider the financial condition of the people of the district before fixing admission rates and tuition fees for the academic session 2015-16 .
Jiribam district has a minimal availability of employment opportunities and therefore the living standard of its people are relatively lower compared to other districts of the State.
As such, the federation's president added, MSF strongly condemns the recurrent increase in admission and tuition fees of private schools.
The federation president warned protest against the private schools in case the schools do not comply with the federation's demand.
MSF has also urged parents and guardians of school going children to call the federation's office and share their grievances related to admission and tuition fees of their children.
General secretary Kh Santosh Kumar was also present at the press meet held today.
