All Tribal Students' Union Manipur (ATSUM) today conveyed heartiest greetings to the people of the State particularly the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas and New Year.
ATSUM also expressed concern over the recent incidents of bomb blast and other anti-social activities which created fear psychosis among the people who come for shopping in the Imphal valley.
Meanwhile, Zeliangrong Union (AMN) president Amu Kamei in a separate statement also extended Christmas and New Year greetings to all the people of Manipur, Assam and Nagaland.
He wished the festivities bring prosperity, unity and peace.
The Kuki Liberation Organization/Kuki Liberation Army (KLO/KLA) has also conveyed Christmas and New Year wishes to the people of Manipur, particularly the Kukis, on the auspicious occasion of Christmas and New Year.
L Jacob Kuki, president, KLO/KLA while wishing that the new year would bring peace and prosperity also wished happiness and soul revival to all the Christians with the Christmas celebration.
The KLO/KLA further urged all concerned to end all kinds of killing or kidnapping.
