Association clarifies

Imphal, August 22 2017:
JN Hospital Pharmacy Association has clarified that the five individuals, who identified themselves as pharmacists and created disturbances inside JNIMS Hospital complex on the night of August 20, has no link whatsoever with the association .
Speaking to mediapersons at the association's office at Pong Lambi, the general secretary of the association, Ningthoujam Jagajit, appealed to the people not to perceive the association or the JNIMS authority in the wrong light .
He claimed that the association was able to learn that the miscreants caused the disturbances and destroyed various properties in the night of the incident after consuming intoxicating substances .
The individuals involved have been identified as Konthoujam Ajay (22) from Phabakshao, Ningthoujam Boby (23) from Karang, Meisnam Bidyananda (24) from Khoijuman, Chinglemba Longjam from Yairipok and M Premchand (22) from Bishnupur .
Jagajit alleged that one of the miscreants is a family member of a patient undergoing treatment at JNIMS and he is the main culprit responsible for instigating the act .
He further appealed to all those concerned to refrain from causing destruction and annoyances by taking the name of the association.
