CM interacts with State students at B'lore

Imphal, August 22 2017:
Chief Minister N Biren today met and interacted with Manipuri people residing in Bengaluru including students at St Joseph's School, Bengaluru, Karnataka .
Interacting with Manipuri people and students, CM N Biren announced to donate Rs 5 lakh assistance from his relief fund to Manipuri people at Bengaluru .
Considering the presence of about 2 lakh Manipuri people in Bengaluru, N Biren assured construction of Manipur Bhavan at a place allotted by Karnataka Govt .
He urged IT experts working in Bengaluru to come and work in Manipur .

Although it was a week day and the interaction was held for a short duration, the turn-up was tremendously high .
Representatives of Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO-B), Naga students and several other tribal student bodies joined the interaction cum reception programme.
The student bodies submitted a common suggestion in written to the CM .
Rajat Sethi, adviser to CM also delivered a speech during the programme which was moderated by Retd IPS officer Th Basanta .
NCC cadets of the institute gave a guard of honour to the CM .
A documentary on the achievements of about 4-month old BJP led Manipur Govt was shown during the programme amidst thunderous applause.
