Lad eyes Guinness World record

A 28 year old youth from Manipur is eyeing the Guinness world record for the most number of elbow strikes in a minute and in three minutes respectively.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club during a press conference organised by Youth Council Manipur and Kickboxing Association Manipur, Yambem Gobin (28) s/o Nabadip of Kwakeithel Konjeng Leikai said that he once came across the record for the most number of elbow strikes in a minute on the website of Guinness world record and it occurred to him that he can achieve the record with a better margin than the current record.
He informed that he began practising elbow strikes from early part of the year and have managed to do pretty well till now.
He continued that the current record of the number of elbow strikes in a minute was 330 strikes.
In his attempt he managed to do better strikes than the set record and he has already submitted his application and video footage to the Guinness world record for doing the needful, he claimed.
Yambem Gobin also said that he is a WUSHU and Kickboxing player and the skill of elbow strike was learned during his younger days.
