District level Science, Mathematics, Environment exhibition held at Kpi DHQs

The XXXIX District Level Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibitions, 2018-19 for school going children reading in classes IX to XII for Kangpokpi District was successfully organized here today at SSA Hall, ZEO Kangpokpi.
The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Science Unit, Education(s), Department, Manipur and NCERT, New Delhi under the main theme "Scientific Solutions for Challenges in Life" and under sub-theme "Agriculture and Organic Farming", "Health and Cleanliness", "Resources Management", "Waste Management", "Transport and Communication and Mathematic Modeling".
Huge number of students from Kangpokpi High School, Goma Devi High School, H M Higher Secondary School, Keithelmanbi and Thangtong Higher Secondary School, Saikul participated in the written quiz competition effectively judged by N Joychandra Singh, SEO/Kpi, I Ibochouba Singh, AI of Schools, Kpi and M Nabachandra Singh, MES-II, AI of Schools, Kangpokpi.
Class IX student of Kangpokpi High School, Robin Budha and Hatnunhoi Guite secured first position in the Exhibition Model while Class IX student of H M Higher Secondary School, Keithelmanbi, Chamkim Lhoujem secured the second position in the Exhibition Model.
Lalneikim Tuboi of Thangtong Higher Secondary School, Saikul, Puja Devi Nepal of H M Higher Secondary School, Keithelmanbi and Hatneichong Khongsai of Thangtong Higher Secondary School, Saikul secured first, second and third position respectively in the written quiz competition.
Speaking at the function, Lhingneikim Kipgen, ZEO Kangpokpi appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the student community in such exhibition and competition which can boost their knowledge and learning while lauding their talents and wisdom.
She also said that the winners of the District Level exhibition will then participate in the XXXIX State Level Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition, 2018-19 to be held from December 4 to 8 at Lamlong Higher Secondary School, Imphal East and informed the winners to report at the venue on December 4 for registration with their exhibition models in their respective full uniform.
The ZEO further said that the recommended exhibitors shall submit a brief write up on the project prepared, a colour photograph of the project and two passport sizes and one stamp size photograph at the time of registration while informing that fooding and lodging without mosquito nets, warm clothing and personal effects will be provided free of cost during their stay at the exhibition venue by the Science Unit of the Education(S) Directorate, Lamphelpat.
