Manipuri girl found dead in her room in South Delhi

New Delhi, July 16 2014:
A 26-year-old Manipuri girl was found dead in her room in Mochi village in South Delhi's South Campus area here this afternoon, police said.
The deceased, identified as Rose Gangmei was living on the second floor of House No 73 in a two-room set since the last seven to eight months.
She had been working as a receptionist at a beauty parlour in Punjabi Bagh area in West Delhi.
According to the police, the incident came to light around 1 PM when her neighbour, Pannam opened the door and found her lying lifeless on a mat in her room.
"A PCR call was made and police team rushed to the spot which found that there were no signs of any scuffle or anything.
There were no injuries on her body and she even had her headphones on," said a police official.
Although police does not suspect any foul play, the body has been sent for postmortem to ascertain the cause of death.
An investigation under section 174 CrPc has been initiated in this case, police said.
