MSDS inked MoU with Australian Company

Ways are further opening up for the jobless youths in the state as Mizoram Skill Development Society (MSDS) and an Australian company Bhullar Education Services Pvt.
Ltd.
(BESPL) today inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation at I&PR Conference Hall here in Aizawl.
Under the MoU, training will be given to the youths in Mizoram by the foreign company and also arranges jobs with attractive salaries to those who have completed the training.
MSDS Chairman Haukhuma Hauzel and BESPL CEO Michael Bhullar signed the MoU for MSDS and BESPL respectively.
Higher & Technical Education Secretary K.Lalnghinglova and Labour, Employment & Industrial Training Secretary P.C.Lallawmsanga were also present during the signing of the MoU.
An interaction with media persons was also held on the day.
Expressing happiness for the MoU signed with Bhullar Education Services Pvt.
Ltd., Mizoram Skill Development Society Chairman Haukhuma Hauzel said that they prefer such company which can arrange jobs after imparting training, and also that the society is also looking for such company which can pay attractive salaries even from the start.
Michael Bhullar on his part said that in Australia and other countries, employers give importance to quality rather than mere high degree.
He said that the skill to be had by the trainees after training and the certificates they are to get will be desirable in Australia and other countries.
Under the MoU that was signed today, a Traineeship Programme will be organised for Class XII passed youths, who will first get training for one year in India.
To those who complete the training successfully, Australian Certificate shall be given, after which Bhullar Education Services will arrange Training & Research Visa with which they will get training as "apprentice" in Australia for 2 years.
After 2 years of training, they will be given permission for employment for another 4 years with estimated earning of worth Rs.30 lakhs in a year.
BESPL offers courses in fabrication and welding engineering, mechanical trade, manufacturing technology (CAD), mobile plant technology, heavy commercial vehicle mechanical technology, air-conditioning & refrigeration and electrical fitting.
For those who have completed the training from the company, Diploma-to-Degree (D2D) University pathways shall be arranged, with which they will be able to join four Australian universities (Australian Catholic University, Charles Sturt University, Southern Cross University and University of Western Sydney) for Bachelor Degree program.
Through BESPL, there have been people who got jobs not only in India but in the Middle East, Canada and Australia.
The programmes under the company are recognized both by Technical & Further Education Commission under Australian government and Nation Skill Development Corporation under the Indian government.
Mizoram is the first Indian state to sign an MoU with a foreign company for cooperation of this kind.
