Adding one more to the many tourist spots of natural beauty and sublime charm, which the State boasts of, a captivating waterfall has been discovered near Molnom village under Tengnoupal Assembly Constituency of Chandel district.
Molnom village is located about 58 Kms from Imphal to the East of Pallel Bazar and is inhabited by around 500 people.
The waterfall is located about 70 feet above ground after traversing a distance for one hour and a half along a woody hilly track from Molnom village.
The waterfall was lies on the Tuisalok river which appeared to be covered by boulders during dry season, said Ngamhao Haokip who led the team.
But it represented a totally different picture during rainy season.

He said that the waterfall could be made a centre of tourist attraction if a motorable road was made up to the spot.
But not a single bridge has been constructed over Tuisalok river along the IVR connecting Pallel to Molnom, Ngamhao decried.
He appealed to the Government to develop the spot around the waterfall as a tourist resort.
He said that they have discussed about creating awareness among the people on prohibiting lumbering at the source of Tuisalok river and also to avoid harassment to tourists.
