Talking to media persons after the meeting, Spokesperson of State Government M Okendro said that the Cabinet unanimously condemned the incident as an attack on peace-loving people of the State.
Further, the Cabinet has directed the officials concerned to beef up security measures in and around Chief Minister's Bungalow.
The higher authorities of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) have also been asked to review security measures for Chief Minister Okram Ibobi.
Disclosing other resolutions of the meeting, Okendra said that the Cabinet resolved to strengthen the ground rules of Suspension of Operation (SoO).
The resolution has been taken following frequent abduction of government officials by outfits under SoO breaching the ground rules.

A high level committee to review the border fencing would be set up as per the resolution of today's Cabinet Meeting.
The Committee would be headed by Principal Secretary (Home) with IGAR (South), Deputy Commissioner of Chandel and ADC of Moreh as members.
The Committee would inspect the spots and submit a report to the State Government within a short period, Okendra said.
The Cabinet also resolved to construct a market at the site of Tombisana High School and promote 488 Head Constables of Manipur Police to Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI).
The session of Manipur Legislative Assembly was also prorogued by the State Cabinet, he added.
