Minister encourages elected representatives to identify, help hard-working, responsible citizens

While advising the youth to inculcate work culture, Revenue Minister Karam Shyam on Sunday asked all elected representatives to extend all possible assistance to hard working and responsible persons in their respective Constituencies/areas to promote work culture in the State.
The Minister was providing monetary assistance to carpenters, smiths, Indian bow makers, bakers and artisans of Langthabal Assembly Constituency by visiting their respective residences.
He conveyed that the aids were provided to fulfil his 'firm commitment to support and nurture hard working and responsible citizens'.
Motivation, encouragement and due recognition to hard working and responsible youth/citizens are vital to cultivate work culture, he said and opined that the State will rapidly progress if all elected representatives support genuinely hard working and responsible people in their respective Constituencies.
Politicians will get the 'real taste' of entering into politics when he/she looks for the differently abled persons, poverty stricken people and help them, he said.
There are many people who struggle in the harshest conditions for their survival.
There are also promising entrepreneurs whose businesses and innovative ideas failed due to lack of fund/capital investment, the Minister said asking all, particularly elected representatives including MLAs, to identify such individuals and extend all possible assistance.
Stating that skill development trainings are essential to generate self employment, he encouraged people including the differently abled persons to use and improve their skills in the fields they choose to earn income and empower themselves.
Karam Shyam, who is also the CAF&PD Minister maintained that 'one's wish or desire will be fulfilled only when he/she strives hard with a firm determination'.
"It is an essential quality of a good leader/citizen to motivate others for doing righteous and good deeds," he said and sought cooperation of the locals of Langthabal AC in various programmes of the Government.
Commenting on the incidence of Japanese Encephalitis, the Minister said necessary steps including fogging may be conducted in areas concerned.
