Awareness on minority scheme held

To increase the level of awareness regarding the various welfare scheme for Minority community initiated by State Govt, a one-day awareness programme organized by Manipur State Minority Commission was conducted at conference hall of Harvest of Jubilee Church, Patsoi Part 1 yesterday.
The programme was attended by chairperson, Manipur State Minority Commiission, Md Anwar Hussain; president, All Manipur Meitei Christian Forum, Apostle M Ibochouba; secretary, Manipur State Minority Commission, Abdul Hakim; commission member Reverant Mutum Ranjit; and Van Panthoupa MS Ningomba as presidium members.
Secretary, Manipur State Minority Commission, Abdul Hakim and Centre for Enterpreneur & Skill Development, Manipur University, Dr Ksh Narayan spoke in detail on 'Different Schemes of Minority Affiars' and 'Enterpreneurs' respectively as resource persons.
Chairperson, Manipur State Minority Commission, Md Anwar Hussain said that the programme was conducted to raise awareness about the several schemes initiated by the Govt for the inclusive development of all communities.
Stressing that the awareness programme was conducted to make the public especially the minority communities aware about the scholarship provided by the State Govt, member of Manipur State Minority Commission who is also a Christian leader, Rev Mutum Ranjit conveyed that underprivileged students can take help of commission to get the scholarship.
