MLA Rameshwar distributes OCs, safety items

Kakching, July 20 2021:
Bombay Stock Exchange, Amazing NamastE and OxyZam, through Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar, jointly donated Oxygen Concentrators to District Health Society Kakching on Tuesday.
MLA M Rameshwar handed over the machines to Deputy Commissioner D Gangmei and Chief Medical Officer Dr Thaodem Rajen at DC Kakching's office.
Meanwhile, the MLA in association with D Gangmei, Dr Thaodem Rajen, Ching Tam Women's Development Association Manipur president N Kunjeshori, International Medical Store, Kakching Bazar and BJP Kakching Mandal general secretary Thounaojam Nanda and others distributed hand sanitisers, face masks, hand gloves and packaged drinking water to the patients, doctors, nurses and volunteers of Community Home Isolation Centre (CHIC) and Covid Care Centre (CCC) in the district, namely at ITI Kakching, SC/ST Girls Hostel Kakching Wairi, Kakching Makha High School, and lastly, Boys Hostel and Girls Hostels of Kha Manipur College Kakching on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Rameshwar urged all to be careful and take necessary precautions to stay protected against the virus, including consuming healthy foods and required medicines on time.
He then urged those in need of help to contact the volunteers of the centres, while assuring of providing all possible help from his side The MLA then appreciated all those who have been extending help in the fight against Covid including his friend and National Shipping Board member Atul Kulkarni, Bombay Stock Exchange, Amazing NamastE, OxyZam, Seva Bharti (Canada) and People's Resource Development Association (PRDA), Bishnupur District, while further appreciating CMO Kakching and his staff, DC Kakching, SP Kakching, Covid Task Force members and frontline workers of the district.
While enunciating the initiatives taken up by CM Biren to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, Rameshwar informed that approval has been received for construction of a 100-beded Covid-19 hospital near CHC Kakching, the work for which will began soon.
He then expressed belief that the government will also address the shortage of manpower, equipment, specialists and other infrastructures of the CHC as soon as possible, in the interest of the people of Kakching.
