Two UG cadres, one OGW arrested

A combined team of 2 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles, 11 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles and Moreh police commandos launched a joint operation at Moreh Premnagar and apprehended one UNLF cadre today.
The apprehendee has been identified as No 1907 (Batch No 31), SS Sgt P Yaima Singh alias Iraibak (37) s/o (L) Tomba Singh resident of Langathel Mamang Leikai in Thoubal district.
He revealed that he had received training at a camp in Churachandpur in 2005.The apprehendee has been handed over to Moreh police station, said a press release issued by PRO Hqs IGAR (S) .
On the other hand, a PLA/RPF identified as No 2710, SS Cpl, Sanasam Ojit Singh alias Thomson (30) s/o Sanasam Ningthem Singh of Wangoo Awang Leikai in Thoubal district was apprehended by troops of 22 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (S) from Wangoo Awang Leikai today.
The apprehendee revealed that he was in the area to carry out 'prejudicial' activities as per the orders from commanders of PLA/RPF from Myanmar.
The apprehendee has been handed over to Sugnu police station, added the press release.
In another incident, troops of 2 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (S) along with Thoubal police commandos launched a joint operation at Yairipok bazar and apprehended one over ground worker of MNRF yesterday.
The apprehendee has been identified as Khullem Dilleay Singh (29) s/o Amuchou Khullem of Top Chingtha Mathak Lekai.
He revealed that he was supposed to handover Rs 27 lakhs on behalf of Mayak Pam to unknown persons in New Delhi, said a press release issued by PRO Hqs IGAR (S).
He was also trying to get information regarding procurement of explosive chemicals/materials as tasked by one Mayak Pam and he was doing a recce to acquire it from illegal sources.
He also admitted to have travelled to Malaysia and met Azam Khan of Pakistan and was in continuous touch with him through Whatsapp and phone, added the press release.
His VISA was arranged by one Malik Batra of New Delhi.
The individual has claimed to have carried out research gather information regarding to nuclear power plants in India and he is sharing the same with Azam Khan of Pakistan.
The apprehended person was using the same mobile handset to pass the above mentioned vital information to Mayak Pam's location at Tamu, Myanmar and to Azam Khan of Pakistan.
The apprehendee has been handed over to Yairipok police station, added the press release.
