AR nabs top MNRF over-ground worker

Imphal, September 25 2015 :
Based on specific intelligence regarding presence of OGW network, troops of the 2 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) along with Thoubal Police Commandos launched a joint operation in general area of Yairipok Bazar and apprehended one over-ground worker of MNRF on Thursday.
According to a press note, the apprehendee was identified as Khullem Dilley Singh (29), son of Amuchou Khullem of Top Chingtha Mathak Lekai.
He revealed that he was supposed to handover Rs 27 lakh on behalf of Mayak Pam to unknown persons in New Delhi.
He was also trying to get information regarding procurement of explosive chemicals/materials as tasked by Mayak Pam and was trying to acquire it from illegal sources.
He also admitted to have travelled to Malaysia and met Azam Khan, resident of Pakistan and was in continuous touch with him through Whatsapp and phone.
His VISA was arranged by Malik Batra, resident of New Delhi.
The individual also claimed to have carried out research on information of access to Nuclear Power plants in India and sharing the same with Azam Khan, resident of Pakistan.
He was using same mobile handset to pass the above mention vital information to Mayak Pam location at Tamu, Myanmar and to Azam Khan of Pakistan.
The apprehendee has been handed over to the Yairipok Police Station.
