A joint team of Longmai Students' Union and Zeliangrong Students' Union, Longmai Area yesterday inspected conduct of the class XII (HSSLC) Examination being conducted under the CHSEM at Noney private centre and found instance of mass copying with some of the invigilators helping the students.
In a joint statement of the two student bodies, the examination is being conducted under the overall supervision of the one L Sarat from Manipur College as supervisor (SO) and principal of Tengkonjang Higher Secondary School KG Lanshingpo as officer-in-charge (OC).
The statement signed by LSU president K Lungthaorei and ZSULA secretary K Ningthouchapou further charged that one Stody Dangmei who is an assistant teacher of Khangshillung Hr Sec School, Khoupum was also found encouraging the student examinees to use unfair means.
In this regard, the bodies appealed to authorities concerned for taking up stern action against the erring teachers.
While wishing luck to all the students who are appearing in both the HSLC and HSSLC examinations, the two student bodies have also appealed to the general public for co-operation in prevent use of unfair means during the examination to bring forth quality education in the State.
