Atal Tinkering Laboratory inaugurated at Martin Grammar School, Kakching

Martin Grammar School, Kakching now has an Atal Tinkering Laboratory for students.
Speaking at the inaugural function of the laboratory as chief guest, Ksh Shi vakanta, IPS, SDPO, Moirang said that the opening of the Atal Tinkering Laboratory will encourage the students of the school in further enhancing and inculcating innovative ideas.
The laboratory if maintained properly with right guidance of the teachers, the school will be able to produce successful innovators, he said.
Director, Edulife Bangalore, Thokchom Sanju, who attended the event as guest of honour, said that Atal Tinkering Laboratories are being opened in schools across India to encourage students to develop innovative ideas.
Headmaster M Manihar attended the event, jointly organised by the school and Edulife Bangalore, as president.
Ksh Shivakanta cut the inauguration ribbon of the newly installed laboratory.
Atal Tinkering Labs are dedicated works spaces where students (Class 6th to Class 12th) learn innovation skills and develop ideas that will go on to transform India.
The labs are powered to acquaint students with state-of-the-art equipment such as 3D printers, robotics & electronics development tools, IoT & sensors etc.
