Disqualification case of Th Shyamkumar : Addl documents submitted before Speaker's Tribunal

Counsels of both the petitioners and respondents concerning the disqualification petition case against Forest and Environment Minister Th Shyamkumar, submitted their written argument/ additional documents before the Speaker's tribunal today.
On February 4, the Tribunal had reserved its judgment following the final hearing of the disqualification petition and informing both parties that whoever wishes to submit additional documents can do so by today.
It may be mentioned that the Supreme Court, on January 21, had asked the Speaker's Tribunal to take a concrete decision on the disqualification case of Th Shyamkumar within 4 weeks.
Following the SC ruling, a copy of the said order, was submitted to the Speaker's Tribunal on January 25 by Supreme Court Senior Advocate SG Hasnian, who is also the counsel of Congress MLAs and petitioners K Meghachandra and Md Fazur Rahim Altogether 15 disqualification cases under the 10th Schedule of the Indian Constitution, were filed against Th Shyamkumar, who won through the Congress ticket before defecting from the party and joining the BJP, by Saikot MLA TN Haokip, Wabagai MLA Md Fazur Rahim, Sagolband MLA RK Imo, Tipaimukh MLA Dr Chaltonlien Amo, Saikul MLA Yamthong Haokip, Sugnu MLA K Ranjit, Lilong MLA Md Abdul Nasir, Thangmeiband MLA Kh Joykisan, Karong MLA DD Thaissi, Wangkhei MLA O Henry, Khangabok MLA O Surjakumar, Patsoi MLA AK Mirabai, Ukhrul MLA Alfred Kangnam Arthur and Ningthoukhong MLA K Govindas in 2018. All the disqualification petitions filed by the MLAs against Shyamkumar were clubbed together as one case during the hearing of the disqualification petition hearing by the Tribunal.
