Imphal, October 04:
The tussle over passenger fare on buses plying between Churachandpur and Moreh shows no signs of ending with the JAC Imphal-Moreh Road Transporters Association saying today in a letter to the CDSU that they will not resuming service unless the Churachandpur District Students Union (CDSU) relented from their stand to fix the rate at Rs 105 per passenger.
The transporters body has also urged the students body to understand the innumerable problems faced by the transporters along the route and agree to a fare of Rs.110 per person.
The CDSU had earlier warned the transporters to resume service on or before 7 October with the fare rate of Rs 105, failing which the students body would be constraint to take its own course of action on the matter.
