BMS urges Govt to fulfill demands

Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister of India demanding upliftment of the labourers and review of the Labour Laws in Manipur.
In a memorandum forwarded and signed by BMS Zonal in-charge N Tomba expressed concern about the present condition of labour class in the country and underlined the need for their upliftment review of the Labour Laws.
BSM has been demanding immediate implementation of the recommendation of 43,44 and 45 ILC which include minimum wage, social security and bonus without ceiling, accepting 12 points joint charter of demand of Central Trade Union, taking appropriate decision on the proposed Draft Labour Court and Labour Laws and stopping the process of Labour Laws amendment till the consensus is arrived.
The All India Labour Organisation will be organising a nationwide agitation on September 2in pursuit of its demands, N Tomba added.
