Imphal, September 07 2011:
Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) has urged the State Government to take up necessary action to end the blockades clamped along the NHs or to make an alternative arrangement for ensuring availability of essential commodities to the common people.
Saying that people of the State are reeling under untold hardships owing to the blockades, KSA expressed wonder how goods laden vehicles escorted by armed security personnel could be burnt down.
Demanding the Government to check black marketing and price hike, KSA also suggested to bring in essential commodities by using cargo aircraft.
The students' body also pressed the Government to look for immediate necessary measures to ease people's hardship before it crosses the limit.
