Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, a joint venture of the Apollo Hospitals group, the largest healthcare group in Asia and Parkway Health, the leading healthcare provider of Singapore would open an information centre at Imphal on September 4 .
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, Tarun Kumar Dash representing Travellers Express Meditrvl Services said that since Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals started its journey in Kolkata five years back, it aimed at meeting healthcare needs of not only West Bengal but the whole of eastern and Northeastern India and neighbouring countries.
The information centre to be opened at Imphal would take care of all queries of patients and meet their medical requirements like fixing appointments, making travel and stay arrangements along with post treatment follow-up schedules.
The second step would be to link Imphal with the patients of rural areas of Manipur and Moreh.
The Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals would also create special and affordable packages for open heart surgery, kidney transplant and other complex surgeries for the people of Manipur, Tarun Kumar Dash said.
